Summer Series Results
The last event of the Summer Challenge was played at the Creek this weekend and produced great finale to the series when Dean Moss pipped close rivals Gavin Hitzeroth and Archie Gemmell in the very last round. It was always going to be close, but Dean scored an impressive 38 points that, together with his earlier scores of 36 and 34 points respectively gave him 108 points overall, 3 points ahead of Archie and Gavin who both aggregated 105 points (best 3 scores from the four events of the Summer Series).
Not surprisingly, Dean also won this week’s event at the Creek, though it was on a count-back as Kader Tazerout also had an equally impressive round of 38 points. A further point adrift was Tim Collins who picked up third place. Nearest the pins were won by Amit Khandelwal (5th), Rupendra Chetri (8th) and Frank Bishop (14th and 16th).
We hope you all enjoyed the series and it was great to see both the “usual suspects” but also some new faces coming to these events. As mentioned in the presentation ceremony, the “high” season is now upon us and we have an action packed calendar of events for you - the first one, the EKFC Club Championship, is now open for registration on the website, followed by the Boeing event to be hosted at Abu Dhabi National, in November - this will open for registration shortly. We also have the Captain’s Day (and an evening family BBQ) in December at the Ranches and the OnAir Days in January and February (at both the Fire and Earth courses). All the exact dates and timings are now confirmed and are available on the website to put in your diaries.
