Thanks to Damien Bolton for one of the funnier adverts I have read in a long time (click forum to view it in the navigation bar):
1) Awful Ping Wedge for Sale 56 deg.
2) Rubbish Putter For Sale - MacGregor, Bobby Grace M5K.
Who says honesty does not pay ;-).

To wet your appetites and to ascertain whether you still want to play a WAGA event this year (although Australia is fully booked), I am copying an email from Brian Lassen who organises the WAGA events (World Airline Golf Association):
\"WAGA also have vacancies in our Wales, Africa and New Zealand tournaments in 2004. In 2005, it is hoped to have events in Phuket, Thailand; Mornington Peninsula, Australia; Whistler, Canada; Scotland; San Antonio,Texas and the Hunter Valley, Australia. Please pass this information to friends and it is hoped we will have brochures available during the (Australia) tournament.\"
Therefore, if you are interested in participating in any of the WAGA events this year (apart from Australia) there are still places available! Please contact WAGA directly through their website.

Click here to see some photos of the golf clinic. I have not done anything with them in photoshop, so they are non-processed! If you want a copy of any of them (in high res) let me know which one and I will forward them to you.
I would also like to thank the staff at the Desert Course (Arabian Ranches) - I think it was a great afternoon, enjoyed by young and old! I guess we are all looking forward to the next one ;-) ! Also many thanks to MMI who kindly supplied some refreshments.

We have teamed up with the Arabian Ranches to provide a golf clinic, which is open to all levels of golfer whether they be a newbie or not! Furthermore, you are also welcome to invite immediate family members (e.g. wife/husband/chldren), to introduce them to the game in a \"fun\" environment.
There will be refreshments and snacks supplied during the late afternoon/early evening by MMI and the team at the Desert Course. To register, click the advert opposite or click here .

Unfortunately, there has been a catastrophic failure of the database on the site, which has resulted in the loss of all data. Furthermore, I had not made a recent back-up of the database, and thus I felt it was easier \"to start from scratch\".
Ultimately, all this means is that you will need to rejoin. Furthermore, you will need to re-register for the golf society event on 20th May.
I apologise for any inconvenience, but I have tried everything I know to restore the database...
Rgds, Tim
