Many congratulations to Dale Mills who scored an impressive 37 points on a hot and humid day at the Ranches. Brendon O-Conner was second on 34 points and Nimit Amin a further point adrift and who came in to the prizes on a count-back. Nearest-the-pins were won by Nimit Amin (2), Kevin Howe (7), Mark Vipond (12) and Simon MacKenzie (17).

This was the first of the Summer Sizzler events - the overall winner is the player with the best two cumulative scores over the 4 events.

Congratulations to Liam Hanlon who scored 37 points and easily won the event at Sharjah - his nearest challenger was Graeme Lloyd who scored 30 points. Following closely behind was Paul Marson on 29 points. Nearest the pins were won by Conleth Kelly (3/12) and Liam Hanlon (8/17). Prizes will be distributed by Paul Nightingale and the winners will be contacted in due course.

Congratulations to Tom Miller who scored an impressive 38 points at Al Hamra at the weekend - he was 3 points clear from the second-placed Stephen Holl. Mike Wells came third on 31 points. It was good to see Mike on the leaderboard as this was his last EGS event prior to retirement. Mike has been a Society stalwart for many years and we wish him all the best for his retirement!

This year�s EKFC Club Championship sponsored by EKFC was played at the newly opened Trump International golf course. The course was in excellent condition and will hopefully become a future golfing venue on the EGS calendar.
\r\n\r\nThe EKFC Club Championship event is the highlight of the EGS golfing season with all players trying to find their �A� game to win either the Gross or Nett trophy. This year�s best Gross trophy was won by Paul Nightingale for a 7th time, shooting an impressive score of 74. The best Nett trophy was won by Sam Tierney with another impressive score 82. \r\n
