Following closely behind was Gary Moreton and Icham Bennani-Smires on 38 points. Trailling a further two points were the partnership of Stephen Holl and Tim Harford on 36 points. You will also be excluded from entry to the next event. If it happens twice in a season, you will be excluded from registering for any event during the rest of the season and will also be liable for a fine of Dhs 300. Any waiver of the penalties will be in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of the committee.

After the third of four rounds in our Summer Sizzler Series, Paul Nightingale consolidated his lead with a winning score of 39 points at the Arabian Ranches on Friday. With his closest rival, Tony Benecke, not being able to play on the day Paul now holds a 7 point advantage on 75 points. This means Tony will need at least 36 points in the final round at the Els in September. Tim Collins, after scoring 33 points, leapfrogs to third in the standings on 63 points overall, 1 point ahead of Martin Taylor - a good score at the last event from either player could catapult them into at least second.

Congratulations to Paul Nightingale who won this week\'s event at Sharjah. Paul scored 34 points, 4 points clear from his nearest challenger, Shorty Callow who came second on a count back from Dale Mills. Shorty also won the nearest the pin on hole 3/12, whilst Jannie Ebersohn won it on hole 8/17.
