Fast greens and strong winds resulted in a high scoring EKFC Club Championship on Saturday 13th February at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. The lead changed hands several times during the course of the round - Tony Benecke, Russ Saunders, Tim Collins, Paul Nightingale and Erwan Testard all had opportunities to win. However, as the wind grew stronger, scoring proved more difficult and the steady golf of Paul Nightingale eventually won through. He beat Erwan Testard on a count-back, with a final score of 80 - both one ahead of Tim Collins. Tony Benecke came fourth a further couple shots adrift.

In the “Net” division, again scoring proved very difficult with Omer Sherif eventually winning out from Didier Sanders and Denver Farrell. Wayne Classen came fourth.

Nearest-the-pins were won by Tim Harford (5th), Denver Farrell (8th), Richard Simpson (14th) and Andrew McFarlane (16th).

We would like to thank EKFC for their continued support of the Club Championship.
