Please note, "no-shows" and cancellations once registration is closed will be charged a penalty of Dhs 300 irrespective of reason and/or whether we can fill your slot with a reserve - Society Members are responsible for their guests in this instance also. You will also be excluded from entry to the next event. If it happens twice in a season, you will be excluded from registering for any event during the rest of the season and will also be liable for a fine of Dhs 300. Any waiver of the penalties will be in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of the committee.
\r\nThe draw for the Transguard Day is as indicated below - we have managed to accommodate all registered players. Can you all bring CASH please to pay for the event.
\r\n\r\nThe prize giving will be integrated with the BBQ, which will start immediately after the golf. So, for those players who are meeting family, I would assume a 1800 start. Please note, to win prizes, players must be there to claim them or they will get raffled.

Though Martin Taylor was unable to build upon his first two rounds of 35 and 39 points, these were good enough to claim the prize as the Summer Series Champion with a cumulative 74 points. Unable to build upon early successes, Martin\'s closest rivals also had their best two rounds at the beginning of the series with Brendon O\'Connor and Dean Moss sharing the spoils with a cumulative 71 points.
Winners on the day were Ben Wilkins and John Weidner who both scored 34 points, followed closely behind by Paul Nightingale (32 points).
For your information, the next event is the Transguard Day at the Creek on Friday, 30th October (1300 Shotgun), which will incorporate an evening BBQ which wives/spouse are also invited to after the event. Registration will be open from 1500, Thursday 15th October.

\r\nIt was another good scoring day in the third of the four Summer Series events at the Arabian Ranches - Tim Harford came home with 36 points, followed closely behind by Richard Simpson (35 points) and Martin Taylor (34 points).
\r\nThere was no movement in the overall leader-board however - Martin Taylor still leads the overall series with a substantial 74 points from his first two rounds (35 & 39). Brendon O�Conner is still joint second on 71 points (36 & 35) with Dean Moss (31 & 40).

It was a high scoring day in the second of the four Summer Series events at the Arabian Ranches - Dean Moss came home in a personal best of 74 and recorded 40 points. Following closely behind were the equally impressive scores of 39 points by both Andrew McFarlane and Martin Taylor - Martin winning on a count back. Nearest the pins were won by Tim Collins (2), Erik Lucis (7), Paul Nightingale (12) and Fran�ois Cognard (17).
\r\n\r\nMartin’s score now ensures he has a substantial 74 points from the two rounds (35 & 39) - let’s see if he can improve on his lower score in the next couple of rounds. Brendon O’Conner is currently second on 71 points (36 & 35) and, not surprisingly, Dean Moss has leapfrogged up the leaderboard and is also on 71 points (31 & 40).
