The inaugural Sabre Day at the Els Club proved to be a very popular day with all concerned. It was a \"blind\" pairs event - i.e. partners were randomly picked from a hat at the end of the event and both player scores added together. John McGuinness and Fabio Prestijacopo won the event with a combined total of 66 points, two points clear of the pairing of Rosslee Wahid and Roger Duthie. In third place were Amit Khandelwal and Francois Cognard on 64 points.

Nearest the pins were won by Noel Connelly (2nd), Dean Moss (4th), Grant Kerr (11th) and Kathryn Ferguson (17th).

Many thanks to Sabre for enabling such a great day out!
