Registration for the first of our season's "big" Society events is now open - the Boeing Day. We are being hosted at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club on the morning of Saturday 16th October and we are looking at a cost of around Dhms 150, which includes green fees, range balls, carts, dinner and (fantastic) prizes!

Please note, there are limited spaces and only "paid-up" EGS members will be allowed to register.....

We have put two late Summer editions to the schedule as we have just been offered some great weekend group rates for the Dubai Creek Golf Club (Dhms 240). There are some caveats: there is a minimum of 12 people required (maximum 28) and there is a one-week cancellation policy (therefore, for the event on 20th August, I will be closing this Thursday......). Both are 0800 shotgun starts and I'm sure we can find a small prize for the winner!

Therefore, if you are interested please register:

1) Friday 20th September @ Dubai Creek. Dhms 240; 0800 Shotgun start Cancelled due to insufficient numbers...

2) Saturday 11th September @ Dubai Creek. Dhms 240; 0800 Shotgun start

\r\n As I am sure you will all be planning this year\\\'s vacations around the EGS golf days \\\"smiley\\\" I have now populated the calendar with all the confirmed dates we have - there are more planned (especially from December 2010 through to March 2011). I have also opened registration up for the next four Summer events (three of which are part of the Microsoft-sponsored Summer Series). You\\\'ll be pleased to know each one is priced at a very competitive Dhms 295.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n As the new financial year has now started, we will of course be collecting subscriptions from all those who have yet to pay (most of you!). These remain unchanged at Dhms 250. Therefore, if you haven\\\'t paid your subs please pay at either the next event or earlier (to Paul, Iain or myself)

\r\n

\r\n Finally, for those who did not participate in last years Microsoft / Al Badia Summer Challenge: the winner is the person with the highest combined total from two of the three events (i.e. only two scores count, so don\\\'t worry if you can\\\'t make all three events - you can still win!). Great prizes, as per last year!
